At the core of who I am, by God's grace, I know that the recognition and affirmation from others is fleeting and dangerous to feed your soul with. But what it does remind me of is that creating authentic art can connect with others. Six months ago I was seriously considering closing my home studio and revamping it into a guest room. Thank you Danny for insisting it wasn't an option!

What an honor and humbling experience to be part of the 2023 NC Artists Exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum Raleigh. SO thankful to be included and receive so many meaningful responses to my painting. Thank you to Raleigh Fine Arts Association for annually putting on this important exhibition!!
